New Publication: A Holistic Asset-Level Modelling Framework for a Comprehensive Multi-Hazard Risk/Impact Assessment: Insights from the ICARIA Project

A methodology aligned with EC technical guidelines is proposed to assess the vulnerability of Dam and Reservoir (D&R) systems to climate change, based on the typologization of climate hazards, system components, and their impacts. Applied to the Almopeos D&R system in Greece using EURO-CORDEX climate projections, the analysis identifies three key hazard groups—extreme heat, drought, and flooding—requiring detailed risk assessment and targeted adaptation strategies.
