Indicator Completed: Heatwave Risk Assessment for CLIMAAX Project

We have completed the Heatwave Risk Assessment indicator for the Municipality of Aigaleo, delivering an integrated view of heatwave hazard, population exposure, and social vulnerability.

Through a Focus Group held in June 2025, municipal stakeholders and researchers jointly evaluated EuroHEAT outputs and local exposure data, defining priorities for heat risk mapping across the city. The result is an overarching heatwave risk score that supports evidence-based decision-making.

This indicator forms the backbone of Aigaleo’s heat adaptation planning under CLIMAAX.
