Indicator Completed: Health Exposure to Wildfire for CLIMAAX Project

The Health Exposure to Wildfire indicator has now been completed, addressing both respiratory risks from wildfire smoke and direct physical threats, particularly for communities near the Wildland–Urban Interface.

Developed through Focus Groups in November 2025, the indicator applied the CLIMAAX FWI workflow and incorporated local knowledge to refine wildfire risk zones, especially around Aigaleo Grove, Aigaleo Mount, and adjacent areas. This participatory process ensured that scientific outputs align with local experience.

This indicator strengthens preparedness and response planning for wildfire-related health impacts.
