Thanasis Sfetsos from NSRC Demokritos participated in the event, representing the institute\u2019s contributions to the project.<\/p><p data-start=\"389\" data-end=\"732\" class=\"\">The SAFE-CITIES project, which began in late 2022, aims to enhance the security of public spaces by developing advanced tools tailored to real user needs. The Final Demo marked a key milestone, presenting the outcomes of months of dedicated work involving law enforcement agencies, local authorities, and industry experts from across Europe.<\/p><p data-start=\"734\" data-end=\"803\" class=\"\">The official demonstration featured several cutting-edge solutions:<\/p><ul data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"1569\"><li data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"959\" class=\"\"><p data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"959\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"859\">Security Vulnerability Assessment (SVA) Framework<\/strong> \u2013 Integrates a participatory model and security-by-design approach for proactive risk assessment.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"960\" data-end=\"1175\" class=\"\"><p data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"1175\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"1015\">Scenario Builder &amp; Serious Gaming Simulator (SBS)<\/strong> \u2013 An advanced tool for creating 3D models of public spaces and simulating complex security scenarios, particularly for large events and crowded environments.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1176\" data-end=\"1337\" class=\"\"><p data-start=\"1178\" data-end=\"1337\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"1178\" data-end=\"1223\">Security Vulnerability Assessment (SERVE)<\/strong> \u2013 A mapping tool for visually assessing public spaces and providing spatial context for more accurate analysis.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1338\" data-end=\"1465\" class=\"\"><p data-start=\"1340\" data-end=\"1465\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"1340\" data-end=\"1354\">Scoreboard<\/strong> \u2013 A reporting and data visualization tool that transforms raw security data into clear, actionable insights.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1466\" data-end=\"1569\" class=\"\"><p data-start=\"1468\" data-end=\"1569\" class=\"\"><strong data-start=\"1468\" data-end=\"1492\">Intuitive Dashboards<\/strong> \u2013 Providing security assessments and decision-making support in real-time.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1832\" data-end=\"2126\" class=\"\">The event also included the SAFE-CITIES General Assembly meeting, where project partners summarized progress and outlined final steps.
