These heritage places require the full focus of specialists to ensure their long-term preservation and best possible protection for their enjoyment by present and future generations. In light of climate crisis, a thorough cross-disciplinary investigation of the climate conditions that could harm monuments and places of heritage value is imperative. By integrating climate data with decay mechanisms, this research provides a valuable framework for predicting future risks and informing mitigation processes for built and archaeological heritage.
