Demokritos NCSRD is pleased to announce the successful completion of the \u201cValidation & Bridging to Action\u201d workshop as part of the CLIMAAX project, held on December 16, 2025, in the Municipality of Aigaleo. Twelve dedicated local stakeholders joined the session to present and validate the refined results from the project\u2019s workflows and Focus Groups, ensuring the scientific findings resonate with community experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representatives from municipal bodies, educators, volunteer associations, local scouts, NGOs, trade associations, SMEs, and independent engineers worked together to validate risk maps and impact chains based on local knowledge and perception. The workshop also initiated important discussions on linking these findings with existing municipal projects, setting the stage for concrete climate protection strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaborative validation marks a key step toward Phase 3 of CLIMAAX, generating preliminary ideas for adaptation and fostering a strategic connection between identified risks and ongoing or future European initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
